Air flow is king with RV Air Conditioner. Without Air Flow you are going to be very warm!

There are a few different types of RV Air Filters. Some units (Coleman) have a 1" standard air filter like your residental units do. Other units (Dometic) have a washable filter. This type you take the filter out and wash, let it dry and replace back into the unit.

This should be done on a month basis if you are living full-time in your camper. If you utilize your camper periodically, make a point to do this when you are preparing to go on a camping trip.
